I call this little doll Sassy Sally because she has a little bit of an attitude, hence her little quirky smile. It was a bit difficult to photograph her in the garden as we have had copious amounts of rain. This weekend looks like it will be quite a bit better, in the low seventies believe it or not. I can almost hear the plants and grass growing!

I visited one of my favorite garden nurseries a couple of days ago and saw this lovely garden man. He looks very laid back and comfortable don't you think!

I was thinking the other day about all the things that we have added to our little garden over the years. If I had to do it all over again our little pond would be one of the first things I would put in again. It has given us so much enjoyment seeing all the wildlife that use it on a daily basis. It also attracts a lot of birds that probably would not come into our garden. So I would say that it is my most favorite thing in the garden. If some of you are thinking about adding a little pond, I would highly recommend it. It will give you lots of smiles.

Hi Kathy, thanks for wondering about me, just got a bit of the black dog, thankfully he has gone for a walk and hopefully got himself lost!
Love Sassy Sally, and I love the story of the hedgehog. I know what you mean about Martha, but I must admit I do watch her podcasts on my ipod. I find it fascinating that she seems so perfect, and of course we have no one like that in the UK.

Oh, I love Sally! She really does have attitude, right? Love also those photos of your pond. It's always great to see what has dropped into your garden to say hello!
What a cutie!! Love her quirky smile.
We loved the pond we had at our old house and are planning one here, too. I just wonder if my dogs will think it's a doggy swimming pool.
This young lady is so sweet ! xo
I am playing catchup on your blog. Happy belated Mothers Day - Sassy Sally is precious. We welcomed a new grandson last Friday so I have fallen behind here on the homefront! There is no place like home and it feels good to be back - even if it is 91 degrees today!
Sassy Sally looks like she could do a great job as my alter ego, Sassy Ally. Love her smile, so cheeky and suggestive of a girlwho knows how to have fun and be just a little bit naughty.
What a cutie! I love her smile!
Sassy Sally is great--I love a little bit of attitude every now and again! I wish there was some way to see your entire garden all at once in a picture. You seem to have so many little nooks and crannies--I wish I had more of a green thumb!
