Even though I have lived here in Washington for many years I still follow some of my British traditions, like afternoon tea and cake.
If I am home I always have tea and cake at around three in the afternoon. I think it is good just to take a thirty minute break or so to unwind.
If I have been dreadfully naughty and eaten to much cake then I resort to my little fake cakes. I made these a while ago, and if I am having guests over for tea I put them on the table with the real ones, it makes for some interesting conversation.

My daughter would love your little cupcakes!! She has seen some like it before and asked for one. I have been eating too many lemon bars, so I think I will join you with the fiber kind!
