Harry...the new man in my life!

I told my hubby not to bother coming home tonight as there is a new man in my life, his name is Harry, he even brings me flowers....what more could I ask for!

Can you believe that we lost phone and Internet service again today, it came back on again at 10.15pm, I am typing furiously just in case it should happen to go out again, I am not sure what the problem was, I hope whatever it was they have finally fixed it for good this time. This is a "what was I thinking" piece of fabric, I thought it was cute when I first bought it until I realized that it really is quite gruesome! I had visions of making some cute tooth fairy things for my Etsy shop, well upon closer inspection all the little teeth have some red on the end of them just like they were all pulled out. I think it would give nightmares to little ones, needless to say, no tooth fairy creations will be made with this!

Believe it or not even in this cold weather our little hummingbirds are still around, I spotted one this morning while I was having breakfast. It took me a few minutes to realize that the poor little guy wasn't getting any food from the feeder because it was all frozen, so out I went in my jammies into a balmy 26 degrees, retrieved the feeder and filled it with some lovely fresh nectar so he could eat breakfast too. I am pretty sure I will have to do it again tomorrow as it looks like it will be very cold again, this time I will be smarter and wear my robe!

Happy Inaugural Day!

Harry is of course delightful! I hope your hubby came home anyway :)
Enjoy the birds... and consider using the fabric for some boy stuff. I am sure my son would go for something a little gruesome, so others would too!!!

Harry is adorable ! Why not doing little cushion with a little pocket for the tooth with your fabric with a little Vichy on the other side... for little boys's teeth...
26 degree fahrenheit ? Oh yes it is quite cold ! Have a lovely day

Harry and his little plaid pants...oh, he's a charmer!

I like that you posted about the tooth fairy fabric. I bet we've all done something similar. One time I was Christmas shopping with a friend and bought a pretty roll of alphabet wrapping paper. I didn't think anything of it when my friend said "hmmm". Only after I got home did I give it a closer look and realize that it spelled out "wedding" over and over. Ha!

It's been nice having a couple sunny days recently - hope you've enjoyed them. : )

Interesting that your hummingbirds hang around all winter. Ours leave at the end of September and reappear in March.

A very handsome fellow! Better tell hubby to watch out! Nice of you to go out in your jammies to feed the hummingbirds! No hummingbirds here, but several juncos were at the bird feeder this morning. I love to watch them.

Harry is quite the dapper fellow, Kathy! Hope your husband didn't mind too much...and I agree with the other commenters...my boys would find that fabric quite amusing, so don't rule it out completely!

I hate to say it but I think a lot of people that shop on Etsy would like the idea of bloody teeth. Sad, but true! haha

Love Harry!!

Handsome Harry...well that's what we call The Golden Child anyway! That fabric makes me laugh. Keep it and use it in a giveaway. I can't be the only one who would love a piece! Jen
