Lots of yummy things to show in today's post. New fabric which of course you just have to get when you have a new craft book. That is true, right? Yep I thought so! Even though we are just turning the corner into Autumn I just couldn't resist these beautiful summer colors.
My next yummy thing is this wonderful Alpaca yarn which will soon be turned into some more cuddly neck warmers. I wish you could feel how incredibly soft this feels. I have been cuddling it all day. This yarn was an Etsy purchase from a little shop called Irish Meadows. I can highly recommend them, they have the most beautiful yarn in natural colors. One of the fun things that came with the yarn was......these little cards showing you which lovely Alpaca your yarn came from, complete with their name. What a fun little card to include with the scarf when giving it as a gift. Some more yummy handmade soap. This is a cranberry scented one and it makes me hungry every time I smell it!. My last yummy thing for today is an apple pie. Unfortunately it is just about gone now but it was so delicious! So there you have it a day filled with yummy things.
So tomorrow we start another season. I have to admit I think I like Autumn best of all. Maybe that's why I have been making things with cranberry scent and baking apple pies. Have a wonderful first day of Autumn!

Happy Autumn, Kathy! I, too, really enjoy this time of year. Hope you create lots more yummy things!
I love Autumn the best too. I love the cool crisp days with the smell of burning leaves. I love the little cards that came with your wool. Those are really cool. I have a friend that has alpaca I'll have to tell her about it.
Here we are ! Happy Autumn ! What a nice choice of fabrics ! Your yarn is beautiful and the idea of the cards is wonderful ! Your apple pie looks delicious and it is a good start for the new season :) Cranberries are a bit new for us here, and i don't know what is the smell like, the color is amazing. I think if i had one, i would first eat it ! Have a delicious day and wonderful first day of Autumn too ! Hugs xo
what great goodies! I really love the idea of the cards with the alpaca yarn, so cute! I would love to know how to make soap, but it always looks so complicated. Did it take long to master? As for the material, any ideas what you will create with it yet?

Definitely everything is yummy - I want to grab a piece of that apple pie which happens to be my favorite. The yarn and fabric is to die for! Happy Autumn to you - it is actually autumnish here today - lots of rain and cooler temps - we will take that!
I always get hungry for apple pie around this time of year. I finally broke down and bought a peeler so I don't tire my hands out.
It looks like you're getting ready to sew again. Can't wait to see what you make.
Nice fabric. Lovely yarn. I can smell the soap and almost taste the pie!
Oh, you've been busy! I missed a couple of posts. I love that grubby hubby soap. Great name! That alpaca yarn is fabulous... love, love, love the labels you received with it!
Love all your autumn projects - the soap is such a pretty colour - I can only imagine its nice scent! Love your latest fabric acquisitions.
I like the washing instructions. Is it for the animals, or the wool! x
I like Autumn best, too! What a delicious post - full of yumminess!
: )
I can definately see that yarn made up into neck warmers. Last night at my Stitch n Bitch one of the girls told me about this site http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/en/kategori_oversikt.php all the patterns are free , and if you go into accessories I can guarantee you will be hooked :-)
