Loose ends
I was in a crochet mood yesterday so I made a bunch of these little granny squares with the plan to make up a pillow. They really come together quite quickly. It is a very good project to do while sitting in front of the TV. As you can see though I have a lot of loose ends that I have to take care of. I am hoping that by early next week it will be all finished and I will have something to blog about. I really like the colors that I have chosen. It reminds me of spring daffodils so I think I will call it my daffodil pillow.
See you next week.

I leave all the little ends outside for the birds. They line their nests with them. Last year when we found a vacated nest it was lined with little colourful ens of soft wool
I bet you're yearning for spring, too. I can't wait to see the trees budding and flowers pushing up out of the ground. I like your daffodil pillow idea.
I've been in a mood to do Granny Squares... I just need to get the yarn out to do it! Those are definitely daffodil colors... bring on Spring!!!
Love your grannies - I am a granny square lover and have made so many afghans with different granny squares. They make lovely baby blankets. They are definitely a fun, relaxing project.
I love those colours! How pretty. I also love the name 'granny squares'...it sounds so comforting. I never tire of it!
Your daffodil pillow is going to be very pretty. I love those colours. I say "Spring", bring it on! I hate running in the ends, so I do it as soon as I am finished a block. That way I don't have a million ends to run in at the end.
I really like the colors you have chosen, too. I need to get back to my crocheting...if I can even remember how to do it!
They are very very lovely! And it is so nice to see some spring colors! I love daffodil and your spring squares! I want to crochet some, i have it in my mind for more than a year now... i need to start :) Maybe this coming Spring :) Have a lovely end of weekend! Big Hugs
The colors are so pretty! (Come on, Spring!)
And the view from your backyard...wow!
We can see the Space Needle from ours. : )
lovely choice of colours -- I'm not overly keen on sewing in ends either
They're really lovely! I always craft in front of the TV. My evenings are always spent cutting out paper shapes.
oooh crochet too - I was in a crochety mood the other day too!
