I should have been cleaning!

I should have been cleaning the house, but this little corner of my garden was calling my name, and I answered!

It was such a lovely afternoon, sitting on the bench knitting away listening to the birds and taking in the lovely scent of the lillies.I managed to finish an outfit for Bruno the little polar bear, his little outfit is made from cotton and alpaca yarn which is such a joy to knit with, I am quite pleased with how he turned out.I have been meaning to share this wonderful photo for a couple of days, it is the little ballerina mice that I made for my dear friend Cindy, she had her husband make a little ballet barre for her little mice. It is just so sweet to see them all practicing there ballet steps, I think her husband did a wonderful job, thank you Cindy for sharing.Well unfortunately tomorrow I really will have to stay inside and catch up on housecleaning, but I can still take a break every now and then and wander outside, maybe I'll even be able to squeeze in a little more knitting!

Kathy.....what a beautiful corner to knit and enjoy nature!!! and i see Patty joined you too!!! ;) love the lily...i am enjoying all of yours since i have not any. a polar bear....love the outfit, a sweet bear!! and the girlie mice with their balance beam....so precious!!! i have to say that although i probably am too old to play with dolls and stuffed toys (but i don't think so), they are what bring me the most pleasure and joy to collect. maybe its because my mom got rid of most of mine and all i got to nab was an old Apple Dumpling doll that did not sell at one of our yard sales. too bad i did not save my Apricot doll, i still think about her..... :(. i just love all your sweet creations!!! keep them coming....i really like the french knots you are using for the eyes!!

Aaaaaaaahhhhhh ! Stop Kathy !!! You can't imagine how difficult it is when you see such beautiful things behind your screen !!!!! You make people in danger (danger of eating to much chocolate for example !) ;)
First : You have a beautiful corner in your garden !
Secondly : I love Bruno and his alpaca outfit ! And I love love love love love lo... your ballerinas !!!! Sure that I'll never be a ballerina if YOU make me eat chocolate each time I feel frustrated !!! ;)
Have a lovely day :)

Your backyard setting is to die for - so peaceful and serene. I love it. Bruno is another cutie - his little knitted outfit is precious. Your talent is amazing - I know I have said this before - but it is truly amazing!

"Should" should only be said if you want to feel bad... but you chose something much more wonderful to do! I have really wanted to use alpaca yarns. Maybe this winter I'll be brave and do a real sweater! Those mice are just way too cute for words!! What a wonderful husband! And your polar bear!!! You come up with THE MOST adorable animals! I am dying from all the cuteness! (Just when I thought I was almost done with the book cover, she decided she wanted to change it! I will NEVER be done!!) I can't wait to do something fun again. I miss my drawing ;) And keeping up with you!
