New Fall Sweaters

I thought I should plan ahead when it comes to dressing my "little ones," before you know it the cooler weather will be upon us. I know it is hard to even think about cooler weather right now when a lot of you are sweltering in the summer heat, but trust me it's coming!

It was such a pleasure to knit these little sweaters, it sure beats knitting one for a man....the arms are so loooong and they take forever! These knitted up in a couple of hours, I haven't decided on who is going to wear them yet, but when I do you will be the first to know. What a lovely email surprise from a sweet lady called Cindy, she sent me a photo of her wonderful cupcakes that she made from my little knitted cupcake pattern, I think she did an amazing job, it makes me hungry just looking at them.I have in my garden quite an assortment of lillies this one I think is very lovely and one of the last to bloom. I have enjoyed my garden this year very much, I think because it is starting to mature and we are finally seeing all our hard work pay off. Although I love the fall and winter, I really will miss going into the garden snapping a photo here and there to put on my blog....I guess I will have to come up with some indoor stuff to blog about, not to worry though, I still have plenty of time left yet!

Kathy - Your little sweaters are awesome and Cindy's cupcakes are beautiful. She did a great job - the white on white is so dainty and pretty. I really feel all of your readers get as much enjoyment from your garden as you do - I do that is for sure!

You did knit beautiful sweaters, I love them I love their colors too :)
I'm sure that the birds, frogs, fox stay in your garden even in winter. So, even in winter you will take some wonderful photos in your garden :)))

What dear sweaters! I once shrunk one of my man's sweaters to almost that size, by putting it in the washing machine by accident! I could almost eat one of those cupcakes at this very moment with my cup of tea. The lily is the most gorgeous colour, one to be proud of. I ended up with two blogs for the very same reason you have mentioned at the end of your post. x

Hi Kathy, the sweater do knit up so sweet, I'd definately prefer to knit that size than the big people kind (smile). You know I'm partial to your cupcakes and those look so pretty - I love the pink and the pink sprouting up in your garden too. Wonderful pic.
Hugs,
Dy

The lilly is so beautiful!! I go to Longwood to see this and you have them in your backyard! Those cupcakes turned out perfectly! I haven't had a chance to try them. I forgot to pick up some yarns to make them the other day. Put that on my "to do" list too! I LOVE your little sweaters. I was just thinking that I should try a miniature one first before attempting the real thing! I can't wait to see who is going to wear them! ;)
