Yippee!

Drum roll please.....finally after what seemed like an endless wait I have my first ripe tomato! Now I have to decide what to do with it, should I make a sandwich, have it in a salad....suggestions would be much appreciated! The onions on the other hand are doing terrific, I think they like this cooler summer that we have been having.Maybe I could ask this little guy to dinner, his name is Bobby and he is very polite and very well mannered.

Things to do and errands to run, I sure wish there was two of me!

I think that Bobby could be starving but this gorgeous tomato would not be enough for his stomach ! You could maybe prepare an onions soup for Bobby and... and... You are lucky to have ONE tomato ! I did'nt have any this year :)
I love Bobby's outfits !
Have a lovely day :)))

We have had the same sort of luck with tomatoes this year...a couple here and a couple there. Most of my cherry tomatoes were just popped into my mouth...and boy were they good! Bobby is really cute!

I think my dad is still waiting for his tomatoes this year. I did hint that if some were ripe Leah would like them (haha) but didn't get much of a response. last year we had so many Mum was continually maing soup! I would suggest savouring it and eating it very slowly!!

What a sweet little tomato. I really wish there were two of mine too. One to do all the cruddy mundane chores and work, the other to craft, read and relax.

That little tomato is precious - I know that it would not fill me up as tomatoes are one of my favorites. You can't beat a good tomato sandwich! Little Bobby is a doll - the little tomato probably would be just right for him.
