For the last two weeks I have been watching this lovely tomato turn from yellow to orange and then to this luscious red color. On Sunday morning it was just perfect for picking, which is what I did and my husband and I shared this together for lunch...and delicious it was to, now if the other fifty or so will hurry up and ripen, then we will be in great shape!I finally finished this special order little ballerina mouse, I think she turned out really well, and I am very pleased with her. I think the touch of black looks very striking against the softness of the white. Our dear little hummingbirds are still buzzing around the garden, my husband captured this one while he was taking a rest in one of our trees. We also spotted this lovely little bird coming to our pond for a drink, I was amazed that my husband was able to get a photo of him as he was very nervous and shy, and left soon after he arrived.
It was a lovely long holiday weekend for us but now it is over and the work week begins again, so it's back to the sewing room for me.
A good Tuesday to all!

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN about watching a big tomato ripen. Looking forward to summer here - i intend to do a lot of tomato-watching. Nothing like a home-grown one!!
I meant "squeal of DELIGHT" when I saw your mouse....
ooh watch out that your mice don't eat your tomatoes!

That tomato looks delicious! I only grew little ones this year but they have been abundant!
Your ballerina is stunning - her outfit is so pretty. Love that tomato - what will you do with your crop when they all ripen at the same time?? Hopefully this will not happen.
