I should have...
... been working on these. Except I was in the garden working on... ... these, and... ... this!
Today it is a little rainy and a bit overcast here, and I'm glad. When we have a few days of sunny weather I am rarely in the house. Which of course puts me all behind in the work I should be doing. I had great plans to get so much sewing done but the sun streaming through the window kept calling my name and I answered loud and clear.
I remember sitting in class at school just shortly before we would go on our summer break finding it so hard to concentrate on lessons. I would usually be staring out the window then too, only to be brought back to reality by my teachers stern voice. Which of course usually resulted in some sort of after school punishment. Well school is long gone and I can stare all I please!
Have a wonderful day!

Your little knitted clothes are marvellous !!! Raining days are perfect for working ;) Children will be on holiday in July in France and i remember perfectly those last days before the summer break too :) Wonderful day to you too :) xo
What is that wonderful purple item? The color is wonderful. I'm having the same problem concentrating on my projects.
You are so funny - your knitting is beautiful!!
I know what you mean. I used to sit and stare out the window during May and June, even though I was the teacher! Now I am also thankful for rainy days. Not only because the garden gets some much needed water, but also because I can stay indoors and finish my crafts. Love that knitted purple item! What is it going to be?
those little jumpers are gorgeous and I love the little dress too - who are they for? A new little character perhaps? I'm also intrigued as to what the purple knitting is going to develop into!
