Thank You!

A big thank you to everyone for making my Birthday so special with all your warm Birthday Wishes, everyone of them was so appreciated!

How lucky was I, here are some of the wonderful things I received.......a lovely bouquet of flowers and some wonderful chocolates from my darling daughter, she knows me so well!Another wonderful gift from my Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law, this lovely basket had all kinds of goodies tucked inside, it was definitely a wonderful Birthday!

For a while now I have been wanting to show you all the wonderful decorating my dear friend Cindy does to her house for Autumn and Halloween, here are a few of her pic's.She really does a spectacular job......if this doesn't put you in the Halloween mood....
....then nothing will!

Thank you Cindy for sharing your pic's, I will be posting more in the days to come.

We woke up to rain and fog this morning, so it is a very good day to stay inside and catch up on indoor things that I have been putting off for quite a while.

Have a great day everybody!

Cindy's Halloween tree is the *coolest* thing I have ever seen!! Where does one even *find* an orange tree??

Happy birthday again, Mom -- got any chocolate left??

Love,
Layla

Those Halloween decorations look spectacular! You Northern Hemisphere gals really get into Autumn and Halloween. We don't do Halloween in Australia. I'm glad....like my kids need more excuses to eat sugar! Ha!

Glad you had a cracker of a birthday. And I'm glad your chocolate fancy was tickled! JEn

:) Chocolate and flowers = happiness any day!!! Yesterday it was foggy in the morning and Caroline said, "Ooooh, it looks like Forks!!!" Now she loves the fog! (just so she doesn't go looking for vampires!!). I haven't even put my fall wreath on my front door yet! I am soooo behind!!

Happy Birthday! I love gift baskets, they are always full of surprises. I usually just decorate for Christmas, but my little boy and I have been looking at all the new Halloween decorations (Pottery Barn Kids) and I've almost decided to do some decorating this year. I won't be purchasing anything, but I have some ideas for some cool homemade stuff.

So glad you had a happy birthday - I love decorating for Halloween - it has to be one of the best holidays ever! (yes I'm a bit like an over excited toddler high on sugar when it comes to Halloween!)
