Windy evening! Post Number 74.

I was trying to figure out last night what I was going to blog about today. I'm sure you've all had those days when your brain is "blog empty".

Well lo and behold Mother Nature unexpectedly came to my rescue!

We had such strong winds here yesterday evening, that while I happened to be on the phone with my neighbor she looked out her window just in the nick of time to see her lovely Ash tree blowing over.

We all ran out to hold up the tree until we could somewhat stabilize it until the tree service will show up.

The good blogger that I am ran back in the house and grabbed my camera, hence today's photo.

It may not be a pretty job but we are all keeping our fingers crossed that it will be OK.

Well tomorrow is post number 75, good luck to everyone.

I too live in the Seattle area and have got to say this has been the strangest weather for spring that I have ever seen. I'm not liking it so much.

How weird! Looking at the photo you would think that you were still living in the UK. What a fab job you've done. Hope the tree survives.

Dont't tell me that the tree wanted to sleep into your birdhouse ? I hope that everything will be OK for the tree and for the frog too.
But I wonder if the frog did'nt feel the winds coming yesterday ?!?
God save the Tree !!!

Wow that wind must have been something else - hope the poor tree survives. Hopefully your weather will be calmer today.

I'm glad you were okay and there wasn't a tornado! The tree will probably be okay, poor thing! Thanks for your trip wishes! Blogger wasn't working right and I just fixed my post! I'll miss "talking" to you this week! And I'll miss your 75th post, unless I can check in quickly sometime tomorrow!

aaaahh, always the consummate blogger! I bet you carry your camera in your handbag when you leave the house don't you? I hope that the little Ash doesn't suffer too much.
