A Wonderful Day!

The weather was perfect, the people all came, and most importantly they all bought!
We sold hot dogs, which went down really well around lunch time. We even opened up our back yard so people could sit and enjoy their lunch. It really was such lovely fun.

The best part was being able to raise money for It's Meow or Never Animal Sanctuary.
It was indeed a wonderful day!

Thanks for sharing your photos! I'm so glad it went well, and you could support such great causes. You probably have this somewhere on your blog, but do you have pets of your own? Someday I'll have to share our dog story!

You know I PRIDE myself on spotting a bargain at such events...I never knew that I could spot bargains from another continent though! Wow! Wish I had been there. You would have had to throw me out of the back yard or turn the sprinklers on...something to get me to leave! Ha! Jen

I bet Meow or Never were so thankful for your fundraising efforts - the photos look really lovely. And how neat and green is that lawn of yours!! I would have pounced on those cotton reel holders like a possessed rabbit!

I think that is a fabulous thing to do and I think I will tell my children about it. They need to clean out some things and I'm sure we could raise a little money for our local shelter!
